Color: Mango Mayhem
First of all I’m a huge fan of Jocko. I own all of his books, listen to most of his podcasts, and I follow him on every social platform. So this review is coming from a very biased jocko fan. First of all the price. It’s about $3 per can. In todays market competing with Monster, Redbull, Bang, ect, it’s actually not as overpriced as people say it is. It would be great to see a lower price but it is what it is. I love that it’s made here in America, by Americans. The flavor I got was the Mango. At first it has a very bitter taste but that’s from the tang of the mango. It leaves an odd aftertaste, something you’d get from Diet Mtn Dew I’d say is the best comparison. The flavor is by far the worst part of this. It’s not bad but it’s also not good. I’d say below average to average range. Now ingredients is where I’m most happy with this product. There’s very few ingredients in this product and all of which you can actually pronounce. No chemicals, no sugar, 10 calories, keto friendly. 95 grams of caffeine is also the included which gives me a nice boost to my mornings as a painter/contractor. Usually I drink Redbull or monster. But I think when it comes down to it if you value your health and products made in America this is definitely a drink to try and see if you like it. If you value flavor over your health and American made products, I’d still give it a shot but I think you’ll definitely still resort back to something that has more flavor than this and also more chemicals and sugars. ... show more

- A Premium Product, and Priced as Such
Color: Tropic Thunder
Credit to Jocko for making such a fine product. I bought Tropic Thunder a while ago, and while it's not as bold and sweet as, let's say Red Bull with its pixie stick flavor, but it's sweet in an understated, accented kind of way. Imagine if you were to eat a pineapple slice, now divide the flavor of that into about 1/3 or 1/4, and that's how intense the flavor is. Understated. The only thing that I balk at with this is the price point. At time of purchase, it was $22 or so per case of 12. Currently, it's at $36 for 12. For this price, I'd rather just wait until it's on sale again and stock up. It's a premium product, and it's priced as such. A once-a-year treat. ... show more

The product is good taste an I do feel like it gives me good energy. But the label is coming off right at the seem at the rim on top. An one of them while I drinking it a piece of it came off in my month.

- First time trying this stuff, it works. The taste...not so much.
Color: Dak Savage
So Dak Savage was stated to be a sort of Dr. Pepper like flavor. I get it, and it has hints of black cherry and vanilla, however, this has a really bizarre after taste that is borderline gross. I don't know that it is related to the herbal ingredients, the can, the sweetener or what. It's hard to enjoy this as it has a strong medicinal flavor. As for having Monk Fruit, I cannot say that this has much sweetness at all. It's bitter and a lingering stale medicinal aftertaste I cannot give it a pass. I drank a can this morning (July 8, 2022) and it delivered on teh statements. I did not feel queasy, nor light headed. I felt tuned in, focused, and had steady energy. Jocko nailed the ingredients in this. I had no crash at all, was not sleepy or tired in the afternoon. Great blend of ingredients. The taste however is a letdown. The good news, on the Jocko Podcast with Tim Kennedy, Jocko said something near the end where he mentioned the taste of some of the flavors and that they will be revamped. Dave Burke who is the man behind Afterburner Orange flavor said on his podcast with Jocko that that flavor was the best of the bunch. I really wanted to like this. I love what Jocko demonstrates as a civilian and when he was serving our country. I love that he cares to use quality ingredients, I love that he writes books and shares his ideas and thoughts on so many things from how to succeed in business (Eschelon Front), to his children books and his other products. This Jocko Discipline GO, gets a hard pass from me. I cannot buy this again, it's price prohibitive given the flavor. I hope they can dial in the flavor and make it a better product because for $38, I cannot justify it. ... show more

- Not bad
Color: Afterburner Orange
I just did a box of GO and A box of KillCliff ignite spicy pineapple and while I like the spicier flavor of the KillCliff better, I like that I can pound a GO that has 95g of caffeine and hammer out a workout with no jitters vs the 150g of the KillCliff (trying to reduce caffeine intake myself) so I like that I still get a buzz enough for a workout and I can even have another one of either of these later without worrying about a loss of sleep. At the end of the day, I’d say that I like both for their qualities, if you are old like me and want less caffeine GO afterburner orange is pretty good, I’ll definitely be trying more flavors. ... show more

- Works for me . . . better than that RB stuff !!!
So I was a little hesitant to try this cause of my reaction to RB. The reports of small plastic pieces didn't help either. So bought a couple from a local store and filtered them through a coffee filter. NO plastic residue at all. . . . nothing. As for taste well get the variety pack and try it. I like the watermelon so far. I don't always drink stimulant drinks but when I do . . . ... show more

- New Formula is an Amazing Improvement on Flavor!
Color: Tropic Thunder
I wanted to write a follow-up to my previous review. When I first tried Jocko GO Energy Drinks several years ago, I REALLY wanted to like them. But the flavor was "meh" at best. The new formula provides all of the original "get after it" goodness of Jocko GO, but is also DELICIOUS! Five stars! Can't wait to try some of the other flavors. ... show more
