Both the 2023 BMW X2 and X3 feature 2.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo inline 4-cylinder engines. However, the BMW X2's engine only achieves 228 hp, whereas the BMW X3's puts out 248 hp. This extra dose of power allows the X3 to go from 0-60 MPH in just 6.6 seconds–. 6 seconds faster than what the X2 is capable of.

The BMW X2 is comfortable, though, and the interior is up there with the best in its class - certainly leagues ahead of the Jaguar E-Pace and possibly even beating the Audi Q3 Sportback. There are soft-touch materials aplenty and it ticks the 'makes you feel good' box very well indeed.

Because the X1 is a taller car than the X2, it benefits from this greatly. But that by no means makes the X2 redundant. Very few SUVs in this price bracket come close to the quality of these two BMW interiors.
